- Freestone Park
Freestone Park takes the park experience to a whole new level with access to playgrounds, picnicking under the ramadas or even feeding the ducks in the lake. Children ages 2 and up can spend the day riding on the miniature railroad, carousel, and Ferris Wheel. Gilbert has more than 20 public parks that can bring out the fun for everyone.
- Mother Nature’s Farm
Another park is Mother Nature’s Farm which is open September thru December. They offer hayrides, a fun maze, pumpkin patches and farm animals for kids to pet. In October, they host a pumpkin patch that all are invited to pick out their pumpkins for Halloween. They also host a snow day in December with tons of snow for kids and adults to enjoy.
- Big League Dream Park
Another great activity is going to Gilbert’s Big League Dream Park, a baseball ballpark with eight-diamonds and more! The complex is open year-around and features a 20,000-square foot indoor soccer pavilion, flag-football fields, and batting cages. - Agritopia Community Garden
As the weather cools down, visiting the pathways at the Agritopia Community Garden become popular. You’ll find everything from sugar cane to chilies along with flowers and herbs! This community garden is made up of over 40 individual 20′ x 20′ plots along with a communal tool shed, gathering area, shaded sitting areas and pathways.
- Bounce Houses
Gilbert has a few indoor inflatable bounce locations the whole family will enjoy! These bounce houses offer events such as Preschool Playdates, Family Bounce Nights, and All Ages Bounce.

Gilbert welcomes everyone to enjoy a day in the sun at one of their four aquatic centers, especially when it heats up here in Arizona.
