Construction should begin in the next couple of weeks on busy Loop 202 to create an interchange at Lindsay Road in Gilbert.
Along with on- and off-ramps at Lindsay Road, the project will include a westbound frontage road between Lindsay and Gilbert roads to add access to the Rivulon mixed-use development and relief to nearby roads, such as Val Vista Drive and Gilbert Road.
The area is home to Rivulon, which broke ground in 2014 as a sprawling development with offices, a handful of restaurants and a gym. The project by Nationwide Realty Investors continues to expand into what town leaders envision as a jobs hub. It already is home to several financial firms, including Deloitte and Morgan Stanley, as well as Isagenix International’s headquarters, a network-marketing company that specializes in health products.
